This is the question that arose with Frozen Icarus - the little boy flapping his wings was in a good place on MY monitor, but because blogspot has a wrap-text qualifier on their html it effs with the text if someone has a smaller screen/hasn't maximized the window...
There's a way to tweak the template to make it 3-column, if you wanted to keep the clock there. As of yet, (this spoken with many frustrated hours playing with the quasi-html XML of the template) I don't know a way to force the body text (the column where your entries themselves are) to have a minimum left-hand margin wide enough to support a graphic...
